Russia is torturing Ukrainian Evangelicals and ROC Priests are trying to “cast demons” out of them
Russia's invasion has led to the deliberate targeting and killing of numerous Christian pastors and priests, with Evangelical leaders disproportionately singled out. Hundreds of church buildings, particularly Evangelical ones, have also been systematically destroyed, looted, or seized. Additionally, within Russia itself, restrictive policies and laws severely limit religious freedom, specifically targeting evangelical Christians through government control and persecution.

Christian Priests and Pastors murdered by Russia as of the end of 2024. 22 (47%) of those pastors were approximately eleven times as likely to be targeted by Russia than other faiths.

Church buildings shelled, looted, or destroyed by Russia as of February, 2024. 206 (33%) of those churches were evangelical churches. But only 4% of Ukrainians are evangelical, meaning that evangelical churches are approximately eight times as likely to be targeted by Russia.
